Dell XPS 10 Hybrid Windows RT Tablet Announced with Docking Keyboard-Specs, Features and Video

Dell XPS 10 tabletIFA Trade Show 2012, the big electronics event in Berlin has showed many awesome device from many manufature with latest technologies and one of them, Dell also expand their Windows hybrid tablet line up with new Dell XPS 10. Like HP Envy X2 Tablet, this model also comes with thin and light profile and a detachable “docking” keyboard for improving speed, accurate and typing experience than use virtual keyboards.

Speaking of hardware configurations, this model also offers impressive hardware configurations. Inside, Dell XPS 10 tablet will be powered by latest generations of Qualcom platform, the Snapdragon S4 quad core processor (might be has 1.4GHz or 1.5GHz clocking speed) that paired with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and running on the tablet version of Windows 8, dubbed as Windows RT delivers great power and performance to handle basic office computing tasks and light multimedia tasks.

It comes with around 9-10mm thick and has a black plastic casing with silver metal edging feels sturdy in the hands. Like the Transformer Prime, you can connect the docking keyboard with a a single lock-slider. The Windows RT device also offers an extra battery life, but no word on extra USB connetor or HDMI port. The 10 inch High Definition LCD display will be delivers clear, crisp, bright, vivid colors and support multi touch functions.

Like all modern tablet from other company, the XPS 10 also comes will full array of connectivity features, such as microUSB 2.0 port, microSD card slot for expanded memory capacity up to 64GB, audio jack, latest bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for connect to wireless networks and optional 3G/4G module. As the Windows based device, it also compatible with the common Windows applications (perfect for business users), Microsoft Office and BitLocker encryption for security.

Unfortunatelly, there the company didn’t mentioned about pricing at this moment, but they has confirmed in Berlin if the windows slate tablet will be available this year (perhaps at the end of October after the Windows 8 release on the market).
