Getac E110 Rugged TabletNow, we will take a look at Getac E110, the latest Getac 10 inch tablet with rugged design that designed for business or professional users which ussually works in transportation, logistics, public security and other outdoor activities. Like Panasonic Toughpad A1 Tablet, the E110 models meets MIL-STD-810G, IP65 certified and comes with Full magnesium alloy case. With Shock-protected design, you’ll never worry again about water, shock, temperature and dust, even in extreme conditions. Designed for business and professional users, Getac E110 tablet will be preloaded with Genuine Microsoft Windows® 7 Professional as the operating system, so you can your PC applications on this device. It powered by Intel Atom N2800 processor dual core processor which has a base clock speed of 1.86GHZ features 1MB L2 Cache and integrated with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3650 plus 4GB DDR3 DRAM delivers the power and performance you need to handle your task and light multimedia task if you need it.

It sports 10.1 inch High definition LCD Display with a native resolution at 1,366 x 768 pixels and multi-touch support delivers clear, crisp and good colors reproductions, even in outdoor use. It backed by 750 NITs QuadraClear technology make it have better contrast ratio and a wider viewing angle than other tablet on it’s class. Measuring 11.02 x 7.2 x 1.59 inch with weighs around at 3.46 lbs and packed with Li-Ion smart 5200mAh battery provides up to five hours of battery life on full charge. To expand battery life, the E110 rugged tablet also has an embedded backup battery.

For storage, this models built in 64GB SATA solid state disk for internal storage backed by PCMCIA Type II card slot and Smart Card Reader for expanded storage capacity. As the business tablet, new Getac Rugged tablet also comes with Kensington Lock, TPM 1.2 security, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash support,     Getac Utility and several optional fetaures to enhanced your experience, such as 3 Mega pixels camera, SiRFstar IV GPS, 2nd Smart Card Reader (occupies 1 PCMCIA slot) and Gobi 3000 mobile broadband for connections.

The rest of specifications are an audio mini-jack, microphone, USB 2.0 port, smard reader, Docking connector (60 pin), 10/100/1000 base-T Ethernet with RJ 45 connector for wire connections, Bluetooth (v4.0 class 1) and Intel Centrino Advance-N 6205 802.11 a/g/n for wireless internet connections. Finally, Getac E110 tablet is a rugged device that designed for users that not familars with Android applications and need a powerful machine for their activities. Unfortunatelly, there is no word on pricing at this moment, but we hear a rumors if the E110 will be release in next month for cost around at 1500 Euros.
