Taiwanese company, HTC has launched its firts tablet at MWC 2011, the HTC Flyer. HTC Flyer designed with unibody aluminum construction with an integrated pressure-sensitive pen experience with HTC’s Scribe and digital ink technology for raw, paint, write, and even retouch pictures. The first HTC tablet is will be release in Q2 2011 with expected price of 499 euros ($674).
HTC Flyer tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM with 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 5 megapixel color camera with LED and auto focus, 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chats, Accelerometer, Compass and support capture life in HD with the 720p HD camcorder. The handset is runs on Android Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense. Dimensions of the Flyer tablet are 195.4 x 122 x 13.2 mm with weight 14.82 oz (420 g).
HTC Flyer also support MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, M4A, AMR, OGG, MIDI music format, YouTube player with MPEG4, XviD, WMV, 3GP, 3G2 for video format and has a 4000 mAh battery for up to 4 hours in video playback or up to 820 ~1470 hours for standby time.
The first HTC tablet also equipped with speaker, microphone, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HSPA+ (14.4 Mbps top speed), GPS, HTML browser, 3.5mm Audio Jack and works on GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and UMTS/HSDPA 900, 1700/2100, 2100 networks. HTC Flyer tablet also offers Evernote syncs up instantly to a secure online server, integration of the OnLive gaming service for play game in OnLive’s library of games and HTC Watch for connected video service.
