LG Electronics Inc just officially introduced the next generation of LG Optimus Pad, called LG Optimus Pad LTE. Designed like the previous version, the device is lighter and thinner with measures in 245 x 151.4 x 9.34 mm with weighs at 497 grams, the new Optimus Pad LTE features new an 8.9-inch IPS True HD multi touchscreen display that offer 1280 x 768 pixel resolutions and support 4G LTE network for faster connection than 3G networks deliver great experience for work and play.
Under the hood, you will find a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, a 32 GB of internal storage with support microSD card to expand storage capacity up to 32GB, an 8 megapixel rear facing autofocus camera with Geo-tagging for capture photos and 1080p video recording, 2 Megapixel fornt facing camera for video chats with your friends and running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb as the operating system. Unfortunatelly, no word on upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich in the future, but we expected it will be upgrade.
The rest of specifications are a 6,800 mAh Lithium Ion battery, loudspeakers with with stereo speakers, 3.5mm audio jacks, microUSB v2.0 slot, GPS with A-GPS support, bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for wireless internet connections with Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities and will works on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 2100 plus support LTE 800. You can also connect it with other device or external monitor via High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).
To enhanced mobile experience, new LG Pad LTE Android tablet also pre loaded with Document viewer/editor apps, Smart Movie Editor for editing pictures and videos, compass, Accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, Adobe Flash, On-Screen Phone (OSP), Web Duet and Google Mobile Service support, such as Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, GMaps, Google Talk, Picassa and download more than 300.000 apps in Android Market to costumized your smartphone. According the press release, LG Optimus Pad LTE will be first launching in Korea Market, but there is no word in Worldwide launch date.
