Medion Lifetab P9516 Tablet 10.1 inch Review, Specifications and Features

Medion is ready to release their new 10 inch Android tablet that targeted for Europe market, called Medion Lifetab P9516. The Lifetab 9516 is the sucessor of Lifetab P9514 tablet with some improved specifications and features to give great costumer mobile computing experience.

Medion Lifetab P9516 Specifications

Under the hood, Medion Lifetab 9516 tablet powered by 1GHZ dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC Central processing Unit, paired with 1GB of memory, 32GB of internal storage capacity with support microSD card slot to expanded storage capacity up to 32Gb and running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb as the operating system that specially developed for Tablet. It’s similars with the predecessor, but the company promised the tablet will get updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the next few months.

Physically, Medion 9516 tablet comes with silver-colored border in front of cassing with measuring just at 1.5 inchies thick with weighs at 773 grams. It’s lighter than Gigabyte S1081 Tablet which measuring 270 x 173 x 14.94 mm with weight just at 790 grams. The tablet features a 10.1 inch multi-touch screen display which offer maximum resolutions display at 1280 x 800 pixel, support 720 video playback, Brightness sensor to utomatically adjust display brightness for energy-efficient and Position sensor to automatically adjust the screen display in portrait or landscape mode. To enjoy high definitions photos and videos, you can connect the device to bigger HDTV through HDMI port.

Like Medion Lifetab P9514, the P9516 also packed with dual camera and integrated stereo speakers with Dolby ® Mobile for deliever good audio experience for musics, games or videos. On the front, a 2.0 MP webcamera with integrated microphone is perfect for video conferencing or video chats with your friends, while a 5 mega pixel rear facing camera with LED Flash allow users to capture quality photos and video recording.

For connectivity, you’ll find microSD / microSDHC slot for expandable memory, Audio-out, micro USB 2.0 port, receiver GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 to transfer files from and to your smartphone, digital camera or laptop, WiFi 802.11b/g/n for wireless internet connections and sim card slot for UMTS / Quadband 3G module (HSDPA / HSUPA), so you can keep connected with your friends whrever you go without worry about Hot Spot. It’s also packed with Lithium-Polymer battery that promised will give s users up to 10 hours of battery life with one charge.

Like other Android device, you can also costumized the 10.1 inch tablet with more than 450.000 useful applications, games, music and videos on Google Play and MEDION ® LIFE ® GATES. Medion Lifetab P9516 Andorid tablet will be available for purchase in Europe market on 29th March, 2012 for cost at €399 (about $525), but no informations about worlwide availability.
