MSI WindPad 100W Review, Specs, Price and Release Date

Taiwanese company, MSI has announced a new tablet, namely MSI WindPad 100W. The WindPad 100W was shown at CES 2011 (January 6-9, Las Vegas) is running on Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System with MSI’s own Wind Touch UI and will be available at the end of this Januari, 2011 with starting price at €599 with a two-year warranty.

The MSI WindPad 100W tablet is powered by Intel’s 1.6 GHz Atom Z530 processor, two cameras — a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera above the screen for video chatts and high resolution camera on the back, 2GB of memory in a single SO-DIMM slot, 32GB of SSD space, and standart battery that providing up to 6 hours of life. Dimensions of WindPad 100W windows 7 tablet are 274 x 173 x 18.5 mm with weight about 800 grams (with battery).

The WindPad 100W windows 7 tablet also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB port, Mini HDMI port for connect to external device, accelerometer, light sensor, and a G-sensor which rotate images automatically. MSI WindPad 100W tablet features Taskbar magnifier to make controlling the Windows 7 OS’ various functions with your finger easier, Easy Face that face recognition software for camera, and ALS light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. MSI WindPad 100W Windows 7 tablet also preloaded with Adobe Reader with flash player and Microsoft Office Starter (Word+Excel 2010).
