As expected, NEC has unveiled their upcoming dual-screen tablet at CES 2011, NEC LT-W Cloud Communicator. The LT-W Cloud Communicator designed with two 7-inch TFT LCD touch screens with resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and to be held like a book and each screen can contain independent applications running at the same time. The NEC Cloud Communicator screen also supports both touch and stylus control.
NEC LT-W Cloud Communicator dual-screen tablet is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 Processor, an accelerometer, 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and supports 720p video recording, a mono speaker, SDHC card slot and running on Google Android 2.1 Operating System. For connectivity, LT-W Cloud Communicator dual screen tablet is equipped with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi (not Wireless-N), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, two USB ports, and optional 3G (or 4G).
With weight only 530g (18 ounce), the NEC LT-W Cloud Communicator tablet is offers up to 5 hours of battery life. Unfortunately, there in no informations about release date and price at this moment.
