Orchard Inc is ready to launch their new 7 inch Android tablet, called as Toughlet tablet. Designed with titanium/aluminum alloy for body with Corning Gorilla Glass to protect display and sealed with weatherLox technology to againts from dust, moisture and other particles, Orchard Toughlet tablet is perfect device for industrial use, Construction users, Engineers, Field Work and much more.
As the rugged tablet, the Toughlet packs with a 7-inch Pixel Qi LCD display that protected with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass panel and support a high-contrast sunlight-viewable display that make it iela for outdoor use. It also packs with a nickel-zinc battery that claims can handles higher temperatures than the common battery. Preloaded with Google Android as the base operating system, the company also plan to release the device with webOS and Windows 8 as the operating system.
Under the hood, you will find dual core Freescale iMX5 ARM Cortex-A8 processor with clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of internal DDR3 memory and dual SDXC memory card slots for storage capacity. The rest of specifications are Bluetooth, a dedicated flashlight button and WiFi for wireless internet connections. For manufacturing and distribution users, the device also support RFID and Smart Cards for tracking inventory and letting multiple users operate the same device.
