Toshiba AT200 Tablet Review, Specification, Features and Price

Toshiba has been introduced their new Android tablet early this month at IFA 2011 and now the Toshiba AT200 available for pre order in Germany market. The AT200 tablet available in two versions, Toshiba AT200 16GB version has starting price at €479, while Toshiba AT200 32GB versions has starting price at €584.

In term of size, the AT200 Tablet measures 256mm x 176mm x 7.7mm with weight 558g and sporting a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) capacitive LCD panel touchscreen with multi-touch support, LED backlight, Light sensor, Accelerometer, gyrometer and a brushed aluminum back. It’s lighter and 0.9mm thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab or much trimmer than the Toshiba Thrive. “With a thickness of only 7.7mm and a weight of just 558g, the elegant Toshiba AT200 is highly mobile yet extremely smart and powerful“, said Marco Perino, General Manager DS Digital Products Division.

Under the hood, Toshiba AT200 Android tablet powered by a 1.2 Ghz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor paired with 1GB RAM, 32GB or 64 GB onboard storage with support microSD for expansion memory, a front-facing 2MP camera for video calling, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, electronic compass and running on Android 3.2, Honeycomb for operating system. The new 10.1 inch AT200 also packs with a micro USB port, a micro HDMI output, Bluetooth to transfer data, docking port and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n to connect internet. The device also ship with GPS and a standart Li Ion battery that allowing up to 8 hours of use.

Toshiba AT200 tablet also pr loaded with several multimedia and entertainment features, includes two Stereo speakers with Sound Masking Equalizer provide high quality sound playback even under high ambient noise levels, Toshiba Media Player supporting a wide selection of video, picture and audio formats, Adobe Flash Player support to enhanced web browsing experience, Toshiba Places and full access to Android market for download more than 250,000 apps, widget, games.
