The Toshiba Satellite U925t Are you looking for a new laptop that has good performance for office activities, but also interested to buy some tablet? If you are, there is a good news for you. Toshiba, the large lectronics company that based on Japan just officially introduced at the IFA 2012 their new convertible tablet in Satellite series, the Toshiba Satellite U925t. Like the Dell Convertible tablet or new HP convertibel laptop, the Satellite U925t is a convertible device that can use as a tablet for standart mode and acts like a conventional ultrabook with the QWERTY keyboard.

It’s very interesting device. Physically, Toshiba Satellite U925t is look like a conventional tablet (without slide-out keyboard) with a big clear and crisp screen, but if you looking inside, the convertible table has pretty impressive hardware specifications. Based on third generations of Intel Core i 5 “Ivy Bridge” as the heart of the machine, this model also incorporated with the latest Intel HD graphics 4000 as graphics accelerator provides the power and performance that can you find on the high end laptop. It also backed with 128GB solid state drive for internal storage and expected will be running on Microsoft Windows 8 as the operating system.

The 12.5 inch screen also use IPS technology with multi touch support, 720p video playback and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass provides clear, crisp, bright and vivid color for both of images and video plus solid design for companions at home, office or when you on the go. The screen also can be up to a 90 degree angle to adjust viewing angle and the QWERTY keyboard with an LED backlight use unique sliding hinge mechanism to transform the laptop mode with a synaptics touchpad offers fast and accurate typing experience like the ultrabook. Unfortunatelly, the keyboard didn’t have a physical numpad, but you can use the virtual keyboard for typing number.

The HD front facing camera will be integrated with microphone offers high quality face to face video communications and built into the back device there is 3 megapixel auto-focu camera for capture photos and support video recording. As the high end tablet, the U925t also comes with 3-axis gyroscope, 3D accelerometer, magnetometer and an ambient light sensor for enhanced multimedia experience. Other features are double USB 3.0 port for fast speed, media card reader slot, GPS, NFC, bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11n Wi-Fi for connecting to wireless networks. For viewing on bigger HDTV, you will find HDMI port and Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. We think, it is the most powerful tablet that showed in IFA and good choice for business users that need a compact powerful device for activities. No word on pricing at this moment, but the company has confirmed if the Toshiba Satellite U925t convertible tablet will be available in market on October 26.
