Tycoon TVB00 Windows 7 tablet review, specs, price, release date

First International Computer (FIC), a second-tier Taiwan-based PC has unveiled a new 10 inch Windows 7 tablet, that called Tycoon TVB00 tablet. The Tycoon Tablet will be available in Taiwan from November 13th onwards with a price tag of US$657 and through ODM in other markets.

Tycoon Tablet is powered by Intel Atom N455 processor, 2GB RAM, a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024×600, 120GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. The dimensions are 243.5mm x 176mm x 15mm with weight 850g and powered with 2700mAh Polymer battery that provides 3 hour battery life.

The FIC emphasized that Windows 7 was designed primarily to be used with a mouse, keyboard and support of multi-touch inputs. Also, not all Windows 7 apps work properly on a Tycoon TVB00 tablet, the FIC spent some serious time modifying the operating system with technical help from Microsoft in order to improve the touchscreen experience on the device.
