Few days ago, WikiPad Inc, the Los Angeles based company has introduced their upcoming 3D Android Game Tablet at CES 2011. Dubbed as WikiPad tablet, the device designed for game fans with capable of glasses-free 3D and attachable game controller for enhanced gaming experience.
Sporting 8 inch parallax autostereoscopic touchscreen display that can produce high resolutions at 1280 x 800 pixels the WikPad 3D tablet capable for view 2D and 3D video playback of all famous video formats, such as H.264, VC1, VOB, ISO, M2TS and FLV. For standart mode, you can use it like common tablet, such as browsing, listen music or video streaming but if you want to play your favorite game, you can attaches the game controller into tablet to enhanced gaming experience.
To optimized gaming sessions, the device also comes with immersive hardware specifications. Under the hood, you will find 1.2GHz single core processor paired with 2GB of DDR2 RAM and running on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system. On the back you will find rear camera for capture photos or video recording plus front facing camera for video conversations.
For storage, the Android tablet equipped with 8GB of internal flash storage with support microSD card slot for expandable storage capacity up to 64GB (enough for your music, video or games files). Other specifications includes mini HDMI port to connect it with external display, mini USB 2.0 slot plus a Lithium Ion battery that deliver up to six hours of battery life. According the Press Release, WikiPad tablet is expected will be ready for online purchase or at retailers’ this spring. Unfortunatelly, no information about priced at this moment.
