MSI just announced the new G Series of gaming notebooks at Computex 2011, called MSI GT780 and MSI GT683 G Series gaming laptops. The GT780 and GT683 notebook based on Intel second generation Core i7 quad core processors with support Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 to vastly enhance overall computer performance, Quick Sync Video for editing multimedia files and MSI’s own heat dispersion technology.
MSI GT 683 Gaming Notebook designed with black diamond with a chic honeycomb pattern for palm rest area and MSI’s own color film print for entire exterior to protect the machine from scratching and wear, while MSI GT 780 laptop designed with magnesium-aluminum alloy cover with durable and solid SteelSeries gaming keyboard and support the latest backlighting technology that offers five keyboard backlighting scenarios to choose from—Normal, Gaming, Wave, Breathing, and Dual Color.
Both of new GT780 and GT683 gaming laptop features high performance Dynaudio and THX TruStudio Pro smart wrap around sound to reproduce crystal-clear sound regardless of source, MSI’s Turbo Drive Engine technology, dual SSD architecture for enhances read-write speeds by some 70%, Cinema Pro technology for crisper pictures and richer colors and GPU Boost technology to discrete graphics card mode when processing heavy load applications to give you superior graphics processing capabilities.
MSI GT780 Notebook comes with a 17.3-inch full HD screens with 1920 x 1080 pixels, up to 16GB of memory, dual HDD with up to 1TB of space, HD720p webcams, while MSI GT683 laptop comes with 15.6 inch full HD screens with 1920 x 1080 pixels, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, two 640GB hard drives (7200rpm), DVD burner and also HD720p webcams. Both of new MSI GT 780 and MSI GT683 also equipped with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M GPU with 1.5GB of VRAM and support DirectX 11 for better detail in games, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi for connectivity.
