MetroPCS and LG are preparing to release the next generations of LG Optimus M (last year), LG Optimus M+. LG Optimus M plus is a midrange Budget Android smartphone with mostly bright black and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system. The new versions also come with a new processor, bigger screen, better Bluetooth connectivity version, and higher camera resolutions than the old one.
LG Optimus M+ aka Optimus M Plus will be powered by an 800MHz processor, a microSD card slot underneath the battery cover for expandable memory, and a 3.5-inch HVGA display with 256,000 colors (more significant than the M, which sports a 3.2-inch screen with limited to 64,000 colors). Four dedicated buttons below the touchscreen provide more clarity, color, and better visibility in brightly lit environments for streaming video, web browsing, and playing flash-based games. On the back, the 5 megapixels rear camera with Flash is perfect for capturing photos and supporting HD recording at 720p resolution instead of a 3.2 MP camera without Flash on the original LG smartphone.
For connectivity, the new one comes with GPS, WiFi 802.11 for wireless internet connections, and Bluetooth 3.0 EDR, which offer faster transfer speed than the older version, which only comes with Bluetooth 2.0. Like other Metro PCS Android smartphone, the Optimus M + also support Google Mobile Service, such as Gmail, Picassa, YouTube, and download thousand of helpful eBooks, Movies, Music, or applications on Google Play.
We expected Metro PCS LG Optimus M + Android Smartphone to be released soon and has a price tag below $99 with a contract.
